Deckadance is a new DJ mixing application from the makers of FL “Fruity Loops” Studio (Image Line). Today is a exciting day for Kontrol Dj company because we are proud to announce that Deckadance supports natively the KDJ500 controller.

Image Line is the first company that is using the potential of the KDJ500 implementing the available open source Software Development Kit and drivers.

Some of the implications of this are:

• Easy of use: Connect the KDJ500 to your computer, start the Deckadance mixing application and enjoy mixing (Deckadance autodetect the KDJ500 on startup).
• Low latency: Deckadance has direct access to the KDJ500 hardware using the D2XX advanced drivers (data transfer rate to 1 Megabyte/second). It doesn't use the midi protocol at all. Deckadance deliver more consistent, faster response times to KDJ500 commands than the rest of DJ mixing applications out there.
• Feedback: Deckadance has total control over the KDJ500, it handles the leds of the KDJ500 buttons. What you see in the Deckandance screen is what you see in the KDJ500 controller.

Deckadance is a rather new DJ mixing application and we can collaborate to improve their software and also improve the implementation of the KDJ500.
